A day with Blisss Mag
The other day we stopped by Blisss Mag to show Nick K (the head hancho) our new boardshort technology we'll be showing at ASR next month. He was tripping on "the Matador" zip-in and zip-out lycra boardie and wanted to know if we had an extra pair, but unfortunately all we had was our sample. Nick will be reviewing it in next months Blisss so keep an eye out!

20 July, 2010 : - - Costa Mesa, Calif.--Action sports brand Factor 54 (F54) today announced its roster of outside sales representatives. The statement follows the Company's report of a multi-year manufacturing and distribution licensing deal with Advance Sports last April.
“We searched the States for talented professionals with track records of great retailer support and who are also expert in the business and promotion of skate and surf,” says Todd Miller, F54 founder and CEO. “I couldn't be happier with the incredible talent we've recruited.”
Anchoring sales in Southern California is Jeff Deffenbaugh, action sports industry icon; former Top-44 Association of Surfing Professional (ASP) surfer; and 3-time president of the Huntington Beach Surf Series. Handling Ariz. and N.M. is Troy Wallace, a long-time action sports rep who has now added F54 to an already powerful line-up.
Jason Fowler was appointed to Va., N.C., S.C., Ga., Ala. and Tenn., where he will add F54's fall line of printables, board shorts, wovens, knits, hats and accessories to his current duties with Given Skateboards and Switchboard Inc. Rounding-off the roster is Sam Saslow, holding the reins in Colo., Utah and Wyo., along with his current roster of brands.

Surfing Wedge, Lowers a bunch, Newport And some other places. Aside from that not much, oh yeah working to at Jacks. At night, going to parties, or mostly I am to tired, so hang out with my girlfriend, go to sleep and get ready for next day.

No none at all, welll Wedge Wedge Wedge !!

Little of both, not huge, but last swell was pretty solid.

Have no clue, don't follow soccer. Again, WTF kind of questions are these ?
11) How is the new movie about you coming along, are you happy with the footage, or is the video guy a tool ?
Not enough footage yet, got to get more. ( Hint Hint !! ) Working on it, but it is looking pretty good so far. Yeah and the guy is kinda a kook, but he is alright.

16) Tell us about that video of you and that Wedge wave, what happened ?
Oh yeah, I knew that question was a coming. I think it was like my second wave, I saw it coming in and asked that sponger next to me if he was on it. He said no no go go !!! Well after everybody who was on beach and in water yelling and screaming go go !! And you where there I know videoing, so shit, had to go. And I am not one to let a wave like that go by, so I went. I scratched and scratched to get into it. Right before I got to my feet, it jacked up. By the time I got to my feet, I knew I was screwed. So I jumped off my board. If you watch it in slow mo I fell right into the trough. It is funny, watching it in slow mo, that is how it felt, like I was falling forever in slow motion. So it actually pushed me through the back, thats why I popped up laughing. It did actually knock the wind out of me. So yeah, thats what happened.
17) Well that is one hell of a wave, big balls and big respect !!

Shit that is coming !!
There has been a lot a lot of action in Newps with south swells. There will be more stuff coming up such as : pics and videos of Jesse Johnson, Zach Portayus at Wedge and various other spots. Same with Jordan Desguin. There will be interviews with some of the team riders. We will also be putting on F54 BBQ's and summer parties. So just keep checking back on the blog. Enjoy life, and go for a surf or skate, or both.

Bobby Okvist has been on quite the roll lately from winning contests in 1 foot waves to charging 10 foot mackers at the Wedge! He is starting to become a fixture at the Wedge in 10 plus surf and his place is well earned in the lineup! If you never witnessed the Wedge break you need to see it to believe the raw power of the place! Right on Bobby keep it up!
